I was worried it'd smell like straight booze, but the vanilla and oak mellow the champagne out into something warm and cozy. Lit it during a bath and the whole room smelled like a fancy toast without being cloying.
Three weeks in and the scent's still going strong, which surprised me for a candle this size. The vanilla and oak come through nicely once the champagne fades, and the cold throw alone fills my whole living room.
The second I lit this candle, that bubbly champagne note hit me like an actual toast—sharp and celebratory. It burns evenly and the barrel oak gives it some depth that keeps it from feeling too sweet.
